Please note in the table below that the participation rates for the eight DMHA regions vary. For instance, only 7% of students in the Central region participated compared to 46% of students in the East region. Participation rates ranged from 12% of schools in the Northeast region to 55% of schools in the Southwest region. The smaller the participation rate, the greater the chance that the data are not reflective of the region as a whole. Please use caution when interpreting the prevalence rates by region.
